Swim Training
Inspired by the confirmation yesterday of the A'Famosa Tri (but planned before that anyway), I sneaked off to Bukit Jalil pool at lunchtime for a 1.5km swim. Last year I was doing 1km swims before the Pulai Triathlon, but I reckon I need to start doing 1.5-2k swims now for 1.5k Olympic Tri swims.
I did a 200m 5 min warm-up followed by 1500m in about 41mins. I did breaststroke, but did a few strokes of front crawl on nearly every lap, and had plenty of breathers too - it wasn't a tough workout!
2 hours of fun running around Lake Gardens tomorrow morning, in preparation for my first ever Half Marathon in 2 weeks. I hope to manage 20k, but 19k is more realistic.
